This week I continued on my current series called the septimus Heap series. I enjoy this book because of it's adventure and medieval feel to it. Every book has the same characters but a completely different story every time. The first book was about a really powerful dark wizard and this one is about being stranded on and island. The books however are every time at least 400 pages with a lot of words on them. So it takes a long time to read. I started this series because I was going to my little sister's swim meet. I was not reading anything at the time so I was on the bookshelf when I saw a book in the back with the pages starting to become yellow. It was nit dusty though. So I picked it up and realized I had this book at my moms house. I never read it so I started to read that book. It turns out I loved it so much I read 150 pages in the hour that I had. I continued to read later that day as well and ended the day reading 250 pages. So I am still reading the series because I like it so much. Syren is a book you cannot out down

ReplyDeleteSo based on your description and Graham's enthusiastic comment, I think I shall have to read these books. I just love a book that is "I can't put it down" good and it has been a long time since I have found one that had me stay up all night reading.
ReplyDeleteI love books that combine magi, fantasy, and a great story. I figure that somehow I am just still unaware that I AM magic and that one day I will have that epiphany and just know how to use my magic. Until then, I will just have to make do with reading and getting pulled into a world of magic by words.
